What Scripture Says About Jesus
A day is coming when all mankind – past, present and future - will awaken to a new reality. That day will reveal the Second Coming of Christ. “Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man... and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Matthew 24:30
For believers, it will be a day of great joy and celebration. Many already accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. These bow their knee in loving reverence and awe, rejoicing to proclaim His name for the new life they have in him.
Others, still rejecting his authority and rebelling in their sin, will mourn in fear on this day. “…every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all peoples on earth will mourn because of him.” Revelations 1:7 Their knee will bow and they will acknowledge, albeit unwillingly, “…the Alpha and the Omega, … who is, who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
You can chose to accept Christ’s grace and bow before him freely out of love for his gift of eternal life. Or you can put it off, denying him, only to bow and to declare his authority begrudgingly, with your fate sealed. Make His day, and call on Jesus now! “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13.
Will you bow your knee now in joy and peace? Or later in terror and eternal anguish? It’s not “IF”, it’s “WHEN”!

Q. Is Jesus the only way to heaven?
A. According to Scripture, yes. Acts 4:12 states: 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.' This is not a human opinion — it is the testimony of those who witnessed the resurrection. Jesus Himself made the same claim in John 14:6
Q. What does Acts 4:12 mean — "no other name under heaven"?
A. Peter's declaration in Acts 4:12 is absolute: the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the sole basis of salvation. No competing religious system, moral framework, or sincere effort provides an alternative. The claim is grounded not in religious preference but in the historical reality of Christ's death and resurrection as the only sufficient payment for sin.
Q. Can someone be saved without ever hearing the name of Jesus?
A. Scripture does not provide a definitive answer for hypothetical cases, but it is consistent that faith in Christ is the means of salvation. What it does affirm is that God is perfectly just and that no one who sincerely seeks Him will be ultimately abandoned (Acts 17:27). The urgency of the Great Commission exists precisely because the name of Jesus must be proclaimed.
Q. Why do Christians insist on Jesus exclusively when other religions seem sincere?
A. Sincerity does not determine truth. A person can be sincerely wrong about a direction and still end up at the wrong destination. The Christian claim is not that other religions are insincere — it is that only one Person in history conquered death, and salvation is tied to Him, not to one's level of religious devotion.
Q. How do I share the exclusivity of Christ without sounding arrogant?
A. Lead with the resurrection, not the rule. Jesus is the only way not because Christians declared it but because He rose from the dead — an event open to historical investigation. Frame it as the best news imaginable: not that others are excluded, but that anyone who comes to Christ is included. Humility, love, and the “No Other Name” Truth Card are a natural starting point."
Digging Deeper Introduction
There are many true statements in the Bible. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) speaks directly to the sinful nature of all mankind. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:1+6) speaks directly to God’s plan for the salvation available to mankind.
Yet few truths are as convicting in their finality as “It is by the name of Jesus Christ … for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:10, 12) and “At the name of Jesus every knee will bow … and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” (Philippians 2:10-11) These later two truths speak directly to the inevitable pre-judgment position of every person. Simply put (this is the spoiler), you will voluntarily bow and confess His name in joyful recognition of your salvation in this life OR later you will bow in inescapable terror and confess without hope as you face the consequences of your rebellion at the White Throne Judgment.
Everyone will face judgment. For believers, judgment will come before the bema seat of Christ to be rewarded for their stewardship of his blessings and to give an account of their deeds done in the body. In life, believers acknowledged Christ as both Lord and Savior. In John 14:6 Jesus clearly announces “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
If this is true, you cannot ignore it.
